CSR in Construction.
This one day awareness workshop is designed to introduce construction industry professionals to the concepts of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Construction. Delivered by our industry leading experts the course will provide delegates with a good understanding of CSR. It will show real corporate and social benefits that can be maximized and achieved through a well developed approach to CSR.
CSR is becoming a core requirement for many clients and stakeholders of the construction industry, both public and private sector. Along with this there is an increasing legislative framework shaping its development. For example, since the introduction of the Public Service (Social Value) Act (2012), public sector bodies are now required by law to consider the return on investment and community benefits from their procurement of public services. This is now influencing the procurement of public works and is a key differentiator in the selection process.
