Our Venues…

Project Five Academy venue finding…

We believe here at Project Five that being in a bright, open and relaxing space will ensure to achieve the very best learning experience for all of our delegates, which is why we take finding the perfect venue very seriously.

Venue finding for Manchester, Edinburgh and Cardiff has started, and after a long day in Cardiff last week we feel we have found a number of fantastic venues to replicate the same great learning ethos. Being able to escape from the normal 9-5 and be emersed by a specific knowledge area must take place in a learning space that has been created to clear your mind of all outside distractions.

London

Sutherland Labs in London has become our ideal space to achieve this, and we feel this space will enable all of our delegates to take as much away from our London workshops as possible. We have confirmed 5 of our London workshops will take place at Sutherland Labs, because its THAT good. We have never found a more calming and inspirational space in the centre of London as Sutherland Labs, we just wish we could clone them for all of our workshops around the UK. If you book onto one of our London workshops, you will be lucky enough to share this space with us.

Manchester

The Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) will be the first venue for our Manchester workshops, a venue designed to showcase the history and achievements that Manchester has brought to the world of science and industry, which have created a conference space above the museum that maintains the industrial history whilst creating a calm working environment perfect for the our Awareness in Lean workshop!

The Studio is our second venue, an absolutely fantastic venue purposely built for conferences, but not just your average conference venue they have managed to create a unique, bright, and open space with a company ethos that their space is a creative and inspirational environment providing delicious and locally sourced food “prepared by our own in house chefs providing menus with ingredients purchased locally, with a commitment to the environment, ensuring that wherever you have travelled from the food has travelled less!” The Studio.

Edinburgh

Being one of the most beautiful cities in the UK, we were excited by the venue choices in Edinburgh.

We are over the moon to announce we are hosting our Edinburgh workshops at the G&V Royal Mile Hotel, a luxurious five-star hotel in the heart of Edinburgh City Centre, just a stones throw from the Castle. When visiting the venue we were blown away by the hospitality of the staff, the modern contemporary décor that is still able to incorporate traditional Scottish furnishings, is visually breathtaking. We know at the G&V our every need is taken care of from start to finish… and with unbeatable panoramic views of the city we are sure you will love it just as much as we do!

Cardiff

The last city we have visited on our site visit tour of the UK… we are lucky enough to have been shown by our wonderful Venue Agent, the most fantastic venue ‘Cardiff and Vale College’ located in the heart of Cardiff, walking distance from the main train station and hustle of shops and bars, we were extremely surprised to find that the quirky college building have dedicated a whole floor to conferences, and what a beautiful space it is. There are a number of rooms all with bright open windows of the city out towards Cardiff Bay, and a relaxing breakout space for all delegates to mingle and enjoy unlimited refreshments – we have surely found our Welsh home.
